Monday Moanin Thoughts #2

Some  thoughts from the last week. In Michigan, it is getting very frustrating that the Legislature is dealing with issues that attack teachers and  do little to help kids. The latest is to not allow districts to directly deduct  union dues as part of the paycheck, Really! Help me understand how that helps kids.  I urge them to focus on learning and support for students and quit trying to turn an important, critical profession into a second income job.

Principals consider conducting  focus groups to improve your school. Input  and feedback from students, staffs,  and parents could help make a positive difference in your school.

Quote of the week:

Why is it when a student struggles with reading or math…we support… yet when a student struggles with behavior… we punish? Dr. Ross Greene

Have a great week and find the good stuff!
